Riverside Crafting promotes fun and fellowship! It's a time set aside to enjoy the company of others and to work on your favorite craft or hobby (sewing, needle work, hand work, rug-hooking, painting, scrap- booking, cards-making, models, drawing, coloring, beading, etc.). Each person is to bring his/her own projects and supplies and we provide the space. There is lots of laughter and fun and it's always great to see and share what we have accomplished. Supplies provided: Table, extension cords, ironing board and iron. Refreshments provided: coffee, tea, water. Lunch: bring your own lunch and bring a snack to share. When: 3rd Saturday of the month, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (with some exceptions -- please email or call). Newly-elected President, Linda Lauchaire states, "I'm excited to roll up my sleeves and get to work with the board and all members! An organization is as successful as its membership, and we are fortunate to have a great, dynamic and growing group of members!" Other newly-elected board members are Marc Strauss as Vice President, Antje Doyle as Secretary, and Jason Kiefer as Treasurer. Hitting the ground running, events have already been planned for March, May, June, and the fall season. Some events will be co-hosted with other Republican organizations. Finishing touches are being placed on its new Facebook page which will be updated by early February. S e r v i n g m o s t m u n i c i p a l i t i e s o f North Hunterdon, the mission of NHRC is for its members to find political expression and recognition, to exchange ideas, to encourage and foster good government and promote Republican ideals and to discuss and disseminate accurate information concerning political affairs. Members are provided substantial opportunity to personally hear from local, county, state and national elected officials on proposed legislation and current issues that concern all citizens. First Friday Open Mic of Hunterdon will be held on February 2 - that's First Friday Open Mic of Hunterdon's Live Entertainment performed by local artists! February's Featured Artist: Andrew Dunn. A favorite on the NJ folk scene, recording artist and songwriter Andrew Dunn has been featured on the legendary stages of The Folk Project and Godfrey Daniels. Showtime for First Friday Open Mic of Hunterdon on Friday, Feb 2 from 7 – 9 p.m at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church's Fellowship Hall, 2 Race St., Pittstown (Route 513 opposite Grandin Rd). W c T T h o l d s m e e T i n g F e b r u a r Y 6 a T o l d W i c k m a n o r The Woman's Club of Tewksbury Township holds its next meeting on Tuesday, February 6, at the Oldwick Manor behind the firehouse, 163 Oldwick Road, Oldwick, 08858. Coffee will be served at 9:00 am followed by an organizational meeting chaired by Club President, Anne Diamente. Instead of a formal program the Club Chairs will review the activities of their committees. Plans for the Club's semi-annual fund raiser, "A Taste of Glamour" fashion show, will be discussed. This meeting is an opportunity to learn how the club operates and understand the "behind the scenes" planning that goes into the successes of WCTT. Required reservations can be made at 908.509.1855. The Woman's Club of Tewksbury Township is a service club open to any woman 18 years of age or older who resides in Tewksbury Township or the surrounding area.
