The Tewksbury Historical Society Art Show is planning to return in
the fall of 2017 after a wo year hiatus and is looking for volunteers who
would like to work on the show (planned for September 29 through October
7 at the Zion Lutheran Christian Education Building in Oldwick) and to serve on
the Art Show Committee. There are multiple facets of the show that volunteers
are needed for including: art work receiving, panel set up and take down,
art sales, admissions and artist/sales checkout. The Show will be chaired
by Society President Shaun C. Van Doren and Society member Andy Calamaras.
The next Art Show Committee meeting will be on Wednesday, March
29 at 4:00 pm at the Mountainville Meeting Hall, 60 Water Street
in Mountainville. Anyone interested in volunteering is welcome to attend!
Can't make the meeting but still want to participate? Contact Shaun at:
908.439.3054 or tewksburyhistory@earthlink.net.
The Show celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2014 and thus has had a
successful run which the Tewksbury Historical Society is looking to
recreate. Artists are wanted to enter the show with juried works, portfolio and a
small works (cash and carry) section. An artist prospectus will be available
in May 2017 with all of the details.
