They will perform folk/alternative music including "I Choose You" by Sara Bareillis. Qvinctus (pronounced Kwin-toos) is an all-male vocal quintet that sings music composed from the A.D. 1300 to today, focusing on Renaissance music and jazz and popular standards. All professional musicians, Qvinctus features two countertenors, two tenors and a bass, though at times they sing in various other vocal combinations, such as TTBBB, or ATTBB. Popular in Delaware and Maryland, this concert marks Qvinctus's first performance in New Jersey, and also marks longtime Hunterdon County resident David Lockart's musical return to the area. Many will remember David as a long-time music educator in the North Hunterdon/Voorhees District. The Church of the Holy Spirit is an Episcopal church in the American branch of the world-wide Anglican Communion, in the Diocese of New Jersey. Our community of faith began as a mission in 1966 and today has grown to a thriving parish of over 750 people of the Spirit. Our worship brings together the best of both the Reformed and Catholic traditions, celebrating Word and Sacrament. Our liturgy is centered in the Holy Eucharist, using an expansive variety of prayers, text and music. We encourage all baptized persons to join us in receiving communion. We are a high-energy, deeply committed and extraordinarily passionate community of faith. We focus our attention on the fulfillment of our mission, a statement found throughout our website. Our Community is based upon the biblical principle of Koinonia: a mutual sharing between members of the Body and an indwelling relationship between the Creator and Creation. All are welcome to visit and worship with us as we rejoice in the active and joyful presence of the Living God. We're conveniently located close to Route 78 in beautiful Hunterdon County. If you'd like more information about our church, please feel free to call the office: 908.236.6301 or email us at: admin@churchholyspirit.org. 3 Haytown Road, Lebanon NJ 08833 www.ChurchHolySpirit.org Qvinctus Concert Saturday, March 18, 7:30 pm An all-male vocal quintet, focusing on Renaissance music along with jazz and popular standards, this is Qvinctus' (pronounced Kwin-toos) first performance in NJ, and also marks longtime Hunterdon County resident David Lockart's (a long-time music educator in the North Hunterdon/Voorhees District) musical return to the area.
