A Look Back Brings Us Forward – 2015 is a year to remember thanks to all of our supporters As we wind down from another busy holiday season we want to take a few moments to look at all we have accomplished this year with the help of our generous volunteers and donors: • 2014-15 VITA program brought almost $1.5 million back into the community • More than 1600 children received backpacks and school supplies • Holiday Hands will serve more than 2500 Hunterdon residents this season • Hunterdon THRIVE is set to improve the financial stability of dozens of Hunterdon Households We are thrilled to announce that our Commuity Volunteer Center is up and running! Thank you to all the volunteers, businesses and donors who helped make this dream a reality. What is a Community Volunteer Center? A Community Volunteer Center is a central location where the community comes together to take part in volunteer activities such as Holiday Hands, Tools 4 School and the Halloween Costume Swap. A Community Volunteer Center is more than a place where things get done. It's a place where things get changed. A Community Volunteer Center is the place where families come to reinforce a culture of volunteerism, a place where neighbors come to lend a hand to neighbors in need, a place where the community comes together to make a difference and build a stronger community.
