Boy Scout Troop 121 from Town of Clinton recently concluded its "Scouting for Food 2015" food drive. To reach our goal of 1,000 pounds, the food drive was conducted in several different ways. In early May, we distributed bags and collected donations from the members of the Clinton Presbyterian Church and collected over 100 pounds of food. In early June, we distributed and then collected "Scouting for Food" bags on doors of residents in the Town of Clinton and also the church members from the Clinton United Methodist Church. There was such a fantastic respond from the residents of Clinton – over 2,000 pounds of food were collected which exceeded our goal! We are very grateful for the generosity of our community, which will assist so many residents in need. Celebrating over 75 years in Scouting, Troop 121 is a high-adventure Boy Scout troop committed to the ideals and values of Scouting. The oldest Boy Scout troop in the Clinton area, it is sponsored by and meets at the Clinton Presbyterian Church on Monday nights. For more information or to join Scouting in the Clinton area, log onto http://clinton121. mytroop.us. We hope you'll join us!
