The CORE Values program is designed to prepare young adults who have little or no work experience to enter the workforce within six months. Now, for the first time, the program is accepting applications from interested high school graduates who are not directly referred by a state agency. Beginning in July 2015, CEA's CORE Values is accepting applications from young adults who are seeking assistance developing workplace social and business skills that will help them into successful long-term employment. The program provides at least 1 1 /2 hours of social skills training daily, while building confidence in actual work performance. By progressing through practice experiences, to on-site work assignments and community internships, participants gain confidence in their job-related interpersonal skills.
