High school students having attended The Work-Family Connection programs (before, after school, kindergarten wrap-around, Wiz Kids, ACE, WFC Clubs and Summer Camps) qualify to apply for the scholarships. Students must have been accepted to an accredited college or technical school for 2015. The scholarship amount is up to $2,000. Application packages are available through the high school Guidance Counselors. Please email: wfcscholarships@theworkfamilyconnection.org to request an application, a copy of application guidelines and eligibility requirements. Application deadline is May 15, 2015. Five beautiful gardens will be featured in the charming hamlet of Stanton, part of Reading- ton Township in Hunterdon County. Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Lilacs, Redbuds and Dogwoods will be in bloom along with classic perennials like Iris, Tulip, Peony and Bleeding Heart! Plantings are nestled in among historic homes, stone buildings and unique garden structures. Light refreshments will be served. Williams, Rutgers University School of Law, Camden, will be providing a free lecture titled "Magna Carta: Symbol of Freedom Under Law & Its Relationship to our Constitution" on Wednesday, May 6, during our Law Day celebration at the historic courthouse from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Professor Williams will be speaking from 6:00 to about 7:15. Following his lecture, we will be presenting awards to the county Mock Trial winners from Voorhees High School and Law Fair winners from Woodglen School in Lebanon Township.
