United Way of Hunterdon County needs your help to ensure all Hunterdon County students are prepared for school this fall. The goal is to provide 1500 school supply kits and/or backpacks so all our chil- dren can start the first day of school ready to learn. We are asking individuals, companies, and organizations to participate in our Tools 4 School program by either donating school supplies or providing United Way of Hunterdon County with a monetary donation to support the program. Just think how far even a dollar would go to serving Hunterdon County students in need of supplies! A dollar buys… 5 glue sticks, 4 notebooks, 5 folders, a pack of pencils, etc. Donations will be accepted through August 8 and will be used toward the creation of basic school supply kits including backpacks, pencils, pens, highlighters, dry erase markers, notebooks, filler paper, folders, glue sticks, page dividers, 2" binders, scientific calculators, pencil sharpeners, composition books, scissors, crayons and markers depend- ing on each students' grade level. An easy way to give supplies is by visiting: http://www.yougivegoods.com/Tools4School2014.
