On July 9 from 12:00–2:30 pm, Mane Stream will host a high-energy Mah Jongg fundraiser where every "Pung" and "Chow" fuels vital adaptive riding and equine-assisted programs. In the spirit of the Fire Horse, a symbol of luck and unstoppable energy, this event invites forty players to bring their "fire" to the table at 83 Old Turnpike Rd, Oldwick. 100% of proceeds directly benefit Mane Stream's adaptive riding and therapy services for children and adults with special needs. Whether you're a seasoned "Bam" and "Dot" pro or a newer player still finding your groove, the afternoon is tailored to you. To keep play fun and fair, Mane Stream will match individual players by experience level, from relaxed, social tables to brisk, expert ranks. Full league tables are also encouraged to join. While no formal instructor will be on-site, the event is perfect for anyone who knows the basics and can play a full game independently. Tickets are $50/person (go to: mahjonggms.givesmart.com) and include access to a delicious grazing table and refreshing beverages. Mane Stream provides all necessary equipment, including tables, chairs, mats, tiles, and pushers, though players are welcome to bring their own lucky sets or a snack to share. Space is strictly limited to 40 participants, so grab your spot today and bring your "fire" to the table for a great cause. For more info, please contact Jen Dermody at: jen@manestreamnj.org or: 908,439,9636.
