"The right to criticize: the right to hold unpopular beliefs; the right to protest; the right of independent thought. The exercise of these rights should not cost one single American citizen his reputation or his right to a livelihood… Otherwise none of us could call our souls our own." ~ Margaret Chase Smith, "Declaration of Conscience," speech in the U.S. Senate, 1950 c l i n t o n t o w n S h i P m u n i c i P a l d e e r m a n a G e m e n t P r o G r a m Apply for a deer Permit! Applications will ONLY be available online at: www.ClintonTwpNJ.gov/Deer-ManagementProgram. Completed applications will ONLY be accepted online via submission to: deermgt@ clintontwpnj.org. Residents and employees of Clinton Township will be allowed to submit their applications starting at 8:00 am on Monday, July 6. Non-residents will be allowed to submit their application starting at 8:00 am on Monday, July 13. Permits will be issued on a first-come, first- served basis, determined by the date/time stamp on your emailed application, and once all permits are issued the application process will be closed. Key points about the program for the 2026/2027 hunting season: • If submitted applications are incomplete, incorrect or received prior to 8:00 am, they will not be allowed to participate in the program. • You must identify the properties you would like to hunt in order of preference. • Team sizes are a minimum of TWO and maximum of THREE. • No one under the age of 18 or those holding an apprentice license can apply. • You and each team member are required to provide a copy of a certificate of insurance. • The mandatory orientation meetings are TBD. • The fee for the permit for the entire 2026/2027 hunting season is $200 per team and can only be paid at the orientation. • First deer taken DOES NOT have to be a doe as long as you comply with the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife rules. • Only one tree-stand per hunter will be allowed. • No tree-stand or ancillary equipment can be used that will damage the tree. • All team members can hunt at the same time. • Coyotes can be harvested incidentally while hunting deer as long as you are following the rules of the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife. We look forward to working with you this year and making sure your deer hunting experience in the Township is a positive one. More information and details may be found at: www.ClintonTwpNJ. gov/Deer-ManagementProgram. If you have any ideas, feedback or questions as the season progresses, please don't hesitate to contact: deermgt@clintontwpnj.org. Best of luck to you and thank you for your participation in the program! G o t c o i n S ? Often, when people inherit coins or find an old stash of their own, they hesitate, not knowing how to proceed to liquidate what potentially could be a significant collection. Take it to a coin dealer? Unless you know one personally, you could risk getting only a fraction of its worth. Try to sell it on eBay? You'd lose a good percentage of its worth to fees, shipping costs and supplies, not to mention lots of time and aggravation. Clinton Coins LLC, owned by Tim Panos of Annandale, started with his plan to pass along his love and knowledge of coins to his four children. A pastime his dad and he spent years pursuing has now developed into a small business with the intent to help people get the best prices for their coin collections. Clinton Coins offers free appraisal of your coins and the opportunity to sell them outright or on a consignment basis. No obligation, no pressure. You could be holding on to a valuable collection!
