Glen Gardner is Celebrating 100 years on
June 1, 2019!!! Everyone is welcome to celebrate
the 100th anniversary of the Borough's incorporation
at Borough Park on School Street starting at 3:00 pm
and ending with fireworks. The celebration is free
with the exception of food and beverages, provided
by food trucks and a beer/wine tent. FREE festivities
compliments of The Borough and Unity Bank of
Clinton, the celebration's presenting sponsor, will
include an opening ceremony, entertainment by
live bands Brian Colburn from 3:00 - 6:00 and
Stereo Junkies from 6:00 - 9:00, an inflatable
obstacle course, a bungee trampoline, face painting,
Clydesdale wagon rides, a caricaturist, a 50/50 raffle,
games, a photo selfie booth, and evening bonfire and
fireworks. The event is rain or shine.
Earlier in the day at 1:00 pm, The Glen Gardner
Historical Committee will be presenting a Historic
Guided Walking Tour of Main Street starting at
Hunts Park at the south end of Main Street. Anyone
who is planning to attend the walk should pre-
register and be prepared to walk just over a mile to
Borough Park where the main event will start. The
new book, "Celebrating the History of Glen Gardner"
will be available to purchase from the Committee for
$25 at the celebration - cash only, please. To pre-

also be on hand for questions and plans to interview
and make a record of memories from townspeople
who are willing to share their stories. The Committee
will also be raffling off the last two of the sold out
100-year commemorative crocks.
The Glen Gardner Borough Council and the event

Gardner Fire Company, The Glen Gardner Women's
Club, The Glen Gardner Historical Committee and

June is a busy month in the town with two more
events at the end of the month: Saturday, June 22,
2019: The Glen Gardner Women's Club and St.
Gregory Palamas Church presents The Town-Wide
Yard Sale & Pierogi Tasting. Tasting and pierogis
will be sold at St. Gregory Palamas Church, 5 Church
Street, Glen Gardner. Both sales run from 9-3pm

Sunday, June 23, 2019: Cars at the Park, 10am-
3pm, Glen Gardner Borough Park. Come support
this fun annual fundraiser for the Glen Gardner
Fire Company. It's free to come to see the show, and
burgers and hotdogs will be available for purchase.
