Since 2014, The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce and the County of Hunterdon have been hosting this fun-filled event that celebrates everything Hunterdon. From local businesses to non-profit organizations to our 26 municipalities, there will be a lot to see and do throughout this celebration that attracts over 4,000 attendees. "Hunterdon County Community Day has truly become a place where we can showcase and celebrate all the great towns, organizations, non- profits, the business community and great resources of Hunterdon County', said Chris Phelan, President of the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce. Back by popular demand, Michael Shwedick's Reptile World will be holding three live reptile shows throughout the afternoon. There will be musical performances throughout the day by Due South, Marshalls Dixieland Band and the Whitehouse Wind Symphony. Dan Torrone of Dr. D Entertainment will return as the Master of Ceremonies and will provide even more entertainment. This festive event will also include a petting zoo, pony rides, children's games, bouncy rides, fire and rescue squad vehicles, demonstrations from local businesses and organizations and tethered rides on the Unity Bank Hot Air Balloon. There will be plenty of delicious food for purchase as well. Presenting sponsor Hunterdon Healthcare is going to have face painting and other interactive activities within their tent. In addition, they will be setting up a fun obstacle course in partnership with the Healthy Hunterdon Work Force Initiative. "Hunterdon Healthcare is looking forward to participating in Hunterdon County Community Day. We encourage our community to stop by our tent on June 1 and talk to the many health professionals and get your blood pressure taken. Children can bring their favorite stuffed animal and get it checked out by one of our nurses, plus enjoy free face painting," said Kathleen Seelig, Corporate Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Hunterdon Medical Center. Businesses and organizations can be a part of this exciting event which provides a perfect platform for them to promote their products and services to local consumers. Business and food vendor spaces are available for $200 and non-profit spaces for $100. For more information, please visit: www. HunterdonChamber.org. The Chamber would like to thank the County of Hunterdon as our partner in making this day happen along with Hunterdon Healthcare for continuing to be the Presenting Sponsor of this community-based event.
