It was clear to us that Norwescap Food Bank is a great organization doing critical work to help our most vulnerable neighbors. We invite you to join us in early January when we will be returning to the Food Bank to volunteer again. We are seeking volunteers for two dates during the second week of January: 1) Tuesday January 9th from 9am until noon (5 volunteers needed) and 2)Thursday January 11th from 9am to noon (6 volunteers needed). They often need more help during the middle of the week than on weekends. So we are hoping that some of you who are retired or have flexible work schedules will be able to join us. Please RSVP via email or message us through our Facebook page! There are many important and notable differences in the products, services and philosophy of Riegel Federal Credit Union. o u r m I s s I o n Our Mission Statement: "To help every member improve their financial well-being with quality service, while maintaining our fiscal integrity." o u r h I s t o r y In 1960, a group of employees of Riegel Paper pooled their resources and received a Federal charter to form their own credit union. This group of volunteers and community activists provided a place where hard- working locals could save for the future and borrow to get through tough times. Over the years the mills were sold or closed and the community has undergone significant changes. One of the few constants has been the Riegel Federal Credit Union. Today, we continue to serve the community by offering savings products, loan products and transaction products with friendly and personal service. A quick visit to our office or a short conversation with our employees and volunteers quickly reveals what a purely community institution Riegel remains. Not only do we know most members by name, but we probably will know their relatives and friends by name as well. To learn more about Riegel Federal Credit Union, visit: www.RiegelFCU.org.
