Chabad of Hunterdon County will be hosting its annual Chanukah celebration! Every year Chabad of Hunterdon, located in Clinton, throws their annual Chanukah extravaganza showcasing a different theme. This year will be the "Chanukah at the Circus," which will feature acrobatic and juggling performances, balloon twisting, face painting, circus workshops and more! The annual Community Chanukah Festival will take place on Sunday, December 17 at HealthQuest in Flemington. Each year, Chabad features a themed menorah. This year, Chabad will attempt to incorporate an acrobatic performance into the lighting, which may even end up in a human menorah! In years past the menorah feats have included a 7 foot sculpted ice menorah, a Coin Menorah, Can Menorah, Bowling Pin Menorah, Ice Menorah, Lego Menorah, Menorah made out of toys, an edible Chocolate Menorah and a Balloon Menorah. This year's event will also feature: Games, Dreidel Games, Menorah Crafts, Jewish Israeli Music, Kosher Hot Dogs, Take a Picture with Judah The Maccabee or The Dreidel Man, Grand Raffle and Prizes, Hot Latkes, Doughnuts and Gelt! Community members are welcome to bring new unwrapped toys for Chabad of Hunterdon County's Annual Toy Drive, or nonperishable food donations for their Cteen Food Drive, which will provide toys and meals to underprivileged families in Hunterdon County. The event is open to the public. Be a part of history this Chanukah and share a unique experience with family and friends. This year's Chanukah festival will take place on Sunday, December 17 at HealthQuest of Flemington, located at 310 NJ-31, in Flemington, NJ. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased in advance at www.JewishHunterdon. com or by calling 908-238-9002. Ticket price includes all activities, food and beverages. Chabad thanks its leading Chanukah sponsor for the 15th consecutive year: The Colalillo ShopRite Family (ShopRite of Flemington, Clinton and Greenwich) and its newest major sponsor for Chanukah events, Barry's Appliance and TV (www.BarrysAppliances.com). "Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love." ~ Hamilton Wright Mabie
