This is a great way for our membership to come together, conduct business and strengthen their business relationships. Check-in is at 8:30 am with a light breakfast and a shotgun start at 10:00 am. The format is a scramble with a twist and the winning foursome will claim the Hunterdon Cup! The outing will conclude with a post networking luncheon, silent auction, networking and announcement of the winning foursome. Golfers may participate in foursomes or as individuals. Per golfer Chamber member rates are $185 and general admission rates are $225. Foursome Chamber member rates are $700 and general admission rates are $800. Companies and individuals can also participate by donating a door prize or by participating as a sponsor. Tee Sponsorships are available for $50 each or two for $75 and Green Sponsorships are available at $150 to have your company logo printed on a course flag. Not a golfer? Not a problem! Businesses and professionals can join us for the Networking Luncheon after the Golf Classic for a delicious barbeque prepared by the Hawk Pointe culinary team. Luncheon only tickets are $35 for Chamber members and $45 for general admission. T e W k s b u r y h i s T o r i C a l s o C i e T y h o s T s 2 6 T h T e W k s b u r y J u r i e d a r T e x h i b i T i o n The 26th Tewksbury Juried Art Exhibition, co-chaired by Shaun Van Doren, Tewksbury Historical Society President, and Andy Calamaras, will take place with an expanded schedule starting Saturday, September 30 through Saturday, October 7 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Christian Education Center, Oldwick, 08858. The show and sale includes juried small works and portfolio areas. Photography, analog or digital only, is a new medium this year which also includes oils, acrylics, paper (pastels, watercolors, mixed media collages) and hand-pulled prints (etching, silk screen, lithographs). Subjects include Animals, Abstracts, Landscape, Floral and Still-Life. An Opening Reception will be held Friday evening, September 29, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Advance tickets at $25 can be purchased at: www.TewksburyHistory.net. Tickets at the door are $30. Awards will be based on Best in Show, Best of Tewksbury, Marion Katnack Award - Tewksbury Landscape, plus first, second and third place Honorable Mentions in each category. Joel Tidey, Judge of Selection, studied at The Art Institute of Philadelphia and the New York Art Student's League in NYC. A member of the Salmagundi Art Club, he is the recipient of many awards such as The Martin Hannon Memorial Award in the Salmagundi Thumb-box Exhibition, second Prize in the Salmagundi 2010 En Plein Air Exhibition, the West Essex Art Association's 2010 Best in Show Award and the American Artist Professional League's 2009 John R. Grabach Award, among others. His work is represented in private collections throughout the tri-state area and in the Siena Art Institute Onlus-Via Tommaso Pendola, Siena Italy. He teaches at the Visual Art Center of New Jersey and at the Joe Kubert School in Dover, NJ. Andrea Gianchiglia, Judge of Awards, is a resident of Califon and a graduate of the Hartford Art School where she earned a BFA in Illustration with a minor in Art History. Her works reflect her passion for animal and wildlife and for rural themed still-life, tending toward a realistic painting style. Working primarily in oils, she also does watercolor, pastels, acrylics, graphite, charcoal, scratchboard and colored pencils. She participates in individual and group shows throughout the tri-state area and has exhibited in various national juried shows, including the "Annual National Juried Exhibition of N.J.E.A.A. - Art of the Horse". A member of the Society of Animal Artists, the Pastel Society of America, the Salmagundi Art Club and the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, Andrea also teaches at the Visual Art Center of NJ, The Center for Contemporary Art, the Somerset Art Association, the Hunterdon Art Museum and conducts private lessons at her Bedminster studio.
