The Silver Belles and Beaus senior singing group is seeking new
members for the upcoming fall season. Rehearsals start on September 7, 2017.
There are no auditions and you don't need to read music. Rehearsals are on Thursday
mornings from 9:45 to 11:30 am at the Bunnvale Church, 285 Route 513 in Glen
Gardner. The fall program will include holiday songs to be performed at local nursing
homes and schools in December. All music is provided, and membership is free!
Sponsored by the Hunterdon County YMCA Active Older Adult Center,
SBB is a co-ed senior choir that has been singing together for more than
20 years. Members range in age from 67 to 94 and come from many different
backgrounds. Their common denominator is a love for singing and for bringing
music to the community.
Here's what some current members are saying about the group:
"We meet great people and sing great songs!"
"I love to sing and the people are great."
"It's a fun group – no pressure."
"I love the variety of music!"
"I love the people, music and visiting nursing homes
and veterans. It's good therapy for me!"
If you love to sing, join us! Call Michele Collins at: 908.236.0595 for
more information, or email at: michelec14@comcast.net.
