Brushing Violets is a New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Decorative
Painters. We offer classes and seminars with both local and national
teachers. Members also participate in community service projects. We
welcome all levels of painters to come and join us! We will hold our
next monthly meeting on Wednesday, July 5 from 10:00 am to 2:30
pm at the Clinton Presbyterian Church, 91 Center Street in Clinton.
There will be a short business meeting followed by a painting program.

The Brushing Violets painted cloth bags and filled them with coloring/activity
books, crayons, colored pencils and pens along with various other items donated by
chapter members. The bags were presented to the Children's Specialized Hospital,
one of the nation's largest pediatric rehabilitation and specialty hospitals.
