ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT • Successfully collaborated with ExxonMobil on a major expansion of their research & development facility that will add 300 jobs and $10 million in assessed value to the tax base. • Responsibly managing our affordable housing plan to ensure we comply with mandates from Trenton while defending against development that is inconsistent with our rural character. DEREGULATION • Restructured Board of Health ordinances to expedite septic repair requests and lower expenses for applicants. • Eliminated costly municipal building code inspections for residential home sales, reducing homeowner fees and expediting closings. QUALITY OF LIFE & RURAL CHARACTER • 8th safest community in New Jersey in 2016 according to Safewise.com's analysis of FBI uniform crime statistics. • Acquired 84 acre property with dedicated open space revenues.
