It is our experience that the most critical time for a Family to receive expert financial advice is between the ages of 35 to 49, which happens to correspond with the period of their lives when their ability to access professional advice is the most limited by either high fees or account minimums. As part of the Hunterdon community raising a young Family, we want to provide Families with an option for expert advice that is affordable, unbiased, and tax-aware. We're offering a free educational seminar to discuss Financial Advice for Hunterdon Parents on Tuesday, April 25 at 7:00 pm at HealthQuest. (Pease see our ad adjacent to this article). Also, Optimized Transitions is offering a new low fixed-fee financial advising service that integrates investment monitoring, tax guidance and college/retirement planning by an experienced team (with 150 years of experience) at a cost of $60 per month for Families under the age of 49 with investment accounts less than $350K. The Seder is open to all, regardless of affiliation, synagogue membership or financial means. For over 3,300 years, Jewish families near and far have gathered around the festive table on the eve of Passover to commemorate the Exodus from Egypt and celebrate the "Seder" feast. This is no ordinary meal. The Passover Seder incorporates fifteen multi-sensory steps which reach deep into the human psyche in every way possible and all at once: rich melodies, dynamic visuals, prayers, stories, and even the senses of taste, smell and touch. Each year on Passover, as nature experiences its own season of springtime renewal, the Jewish people participate in the Seder tradition and experience their own renewal and rebirth. Commemorated at the Seder table are the Exodus from Egypt and the birth of the Jewish nation over three millennia ago. At the same time, participants will embark on a modern-day journey to spiritual freedom. This unique Seder experience will be led by Rabbi Eli Kornfeld and features explanations and commentary based on mystical and traditional insights, humor and song. We'll serve a four-course holiday dinner with hand-baked Matzah and choice of fine wines or grape juice. Chabad will warm up with a Wine & Cheese Tasting and Matzah Bake on Sunday, April 2 at 5:00 pm at the Unionville Vineyards in Ringoes! Sample fine Kosher Passover wine and gourmet cheese pairings (ages 21+) plus an interactive matzah bakery! Reservations required for the Seder: $54/adults, $36/children. Reservations for the Wine & Cheese Tasting are strongly encouraged: $36/ person (21+ only).
