Dear Julie, On behalf of the Women's Club of Tewksbury Township, please accept our sincere gratitude for helping the club to promote its activities during 2016. With your support the club continues to achieve its goals. We look forward to working with you in the year ahead and wish you and the Clinton Township Newsletter success! Thank you. Sincerely, Joan Umholtz WCTT 2016-18 Publicity Chair "Ms. Flynn: I was disappointed to see the December cover. Could you help explain to me and other readers why you choose not to capitalize "M" in Merry and "C" in Christmas, but did on the "H"'s? I also attached an older one where you capitalized the "H" in Halloween? My hopes are that it was just an oversite and you will explain in the next addition for the error (also on the cover). If not, could you please explain yours and Ms. Keesings reason/position? Merry Christmas, James S. Dear James, Thank you for sending me your concern about our December cover and for bringing it to my attention. I designed this cover and, honestly, didn't even think about the fact that the "m" appeared as lower-case on the word "Merry" but the "H" appeared as upper case on the word "Happy". Personally, I'm a Presbyterian and I've always celebrated Christmas — it's a very important day/Season for me and my family. So, that was an oversight on my part and not intended in any way to reduce the meaning of Christmas or take away from the reason for the season. Ruth has no agenda for changing or reducing the meaning of Christmas either. Ruth and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
