Coats are needed for all ages, in new or in good-condition. We are donating the coats to a center called Our Youth, which is located in Jersey City with additional space in NYC. Our Youth assists the young adults within the LGBTQ community (within the NJ and NY area) find jobs and get into college. Our Youth also provides health referrals, an annual college scholarship and weekly community activities. Our Youth is a place where youth can come together, regardless of sexuality, and be respected, loved and understood. Please consider stopping by the Country Griddle and donating coats. As a Knight of Columbus and as a passionate person in life,we have many missions. The Special Olympics gives dignity to both men and woman who have many challenges just living a normal life. The Polar Plunge in Seaside Heights is an annual event in which I participate to help them. I freeze by diving into the frozen Atlantic so they do not have to. This is more a cause to help the living. My life has been transformed by the sincerity and honesty of dealing with many special needs people. Their fight everyday to just live a normal life is one many of us will never know. Please consider donating by using the link below and visiting my website. 100% of the funds go directly to Special Olympics of New Jersey. This is 501C3 non- profit so your donation is tax deductible. I cannot even tell you how many people I have helped in the past but with your assistance, it can be much more. This year I hope to raise around $10,000 and have our team raise $40,000. Thank you for your consideration. It takes a special person to do something for someone you do not know and expect nothing in return. That will ALWAYS make any event a special one. This link below will bring you to my web page where you can donate: www.classy.org/fundraise?fcid=787248.
