The Clinton Sunrise Rotary is once again having a Community Health
& Wellness Day in Clinton on October 1, from 9:00 am-12:00 pm, at the
Clinton Firehouse at New Street and Old Route 22, which will feature
the County Flu Clinic to benefit the Food Pantry services in the County.
To serve the community, the Rotary has partnered with the County to provide
Medication Disposal Collection, HMC will provide Blood Pressure screenings,
Rotary will accept donations of non-perishable foods and the YMCA will collect
coats. All coat donations must be clean and in good condition.
This is the ONLY Flu Clinic which will give proceeds back to community.
Last year $6000 went to support the pantry services for the five local Rotary Clubs
and there were also thousands of pounds of food collected at the clinics. Please
consider getting your shot at one of the Rotary Clinics starting with Sunday,
September 25 at the Jewish Community Center in Flemington; Saturday, October
1 at the Clinton Firehouse; and Sunday, October 2 at Our Lady of Lourdes in
Whitehouse Station. All clinics are 9:00 am-12:00 pm. Remember to bring a
coat for the YMCA coat drive and non-perishable items for the Food
Pantry. Most insurances are accepted and Dr. Ron Frank of Greenbrook
Family Practice will be on site to answer any questions. For more
information about the CSRotary, visit: www.clintonsunriserotary.org.
