I am participating in an amazing holiday drive for animal rescues and shelters, part of a nationwide campaign. My dog, Penny the Pit Bull ( https://www.facebook.com/PennyThePitty?ref=hl) is one of the famous dogs on Facebook. She was chosen again this year to participate in the Holiday Drive for I'm Not A Monster. Check it out at: http://ImNotAMonster.org. Penny is the only dog in Hunterdon County that was chosen and is also a registered Canine Good Citizen. We, as a family, are very involved in dog rescue. We are currently fostering two shelter survivors (which brings our foster total to 41 dogs) saved from a high-kill shelter. Pit Bulls are our passion as they are the most misunderstood breed. We always try to bring positive light to educate people about how loving they can actually be. For the holidays, we're collecting donations of canned food, treats, collars, leashes, toys, crates, paper towels, black garbage bags, etc., for the dogs in foster care and shelters. We're not just collecting for Pit Bulls–three of our chosen rescues/shelters are not breed-specific. We have an Amazon Wish List set up to make donating easy for people to do from home: http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/ wishlist/3OXQYERSD6DSP/ref=topnav_lists_1 Right now we are set up to have drop boxes at South Branch Vet on Route 31 South as well as Crown Vet off of Route 22 West. Last year the school district participated by hosting boxes in all the schools–we are hoping for their help with that again this year. Please help our worthy cause!
