Oct. 4, 9:am-12 pm The Clinton Sunrise Rotary and Green Brook Family Medicine are Co- sponsoring a Community Flu Vaccine Clinic at the Clinton Fire House (1 New St, Clinton, 908.735.8613) on Saturday, October 3, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Readington (390 County Rd 523, Whitehouse Station, 908.534.2319) on Sunday, October 4, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Dr. Ronald Frank, Dr. Sean Cook and the Rotary Clubs of Hunterdon County will provide a non-profit flu vaccine clinic to benefit the Hunterdon County Food Pantries to help feed those in need. A minimum of $10 per vaccine dose will be donated this year and in the last 2 years over $13,000 was contributed through this program. Bring the entire family! Injectable vaccines including Preservative-Free will be available for adults and children 6 months of age and older at this convenient one stop clinic. A limited supply (due to production delays) of the Flu Mist vaccine will be available. Please call the Office at: 732.356.0266 to reserve your Flu Mist vaccine. No co-pays or deductibles are required for participants with most major insurances. We are unable to accept insurance plans that require you to list a primary care physician on your card or NJ Family Care/Medicaid. Please present all insurance cards at the clinic. For those without insurance, or plans that Green Brook Family Medicine does not participate with, the flu vaccine cost is $25 for the (QIV) injectable, and $35 for the Flu Mist nasal spray. In addition to the proceeds from the vaccination program, non- perishable food donations will be gladly accepted for local food pantries. We hope to see you there! t H e g o o d n e w S H o m e F o r w o m e n H a r v e S t F e S t i v a l & c r a F t F a i r Registrations are now being accepted for vendor tables at the 13th annual Good News Home Harvest Festival and Craft Fair to be held on Saturday, September 12 from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. This festival will take place on the grounds of the Good News Home for Women, located at 33 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington. Vendors are welcome to sell crafts and other merchandise! The Harvest Festival will feature fun activities for the entire family, including pony rides, face painting, music, games, prizes, and refreshments. Officers for the Hunterdon County Sheriff's Office will also be there making identification cards for children through their Child Ident-A-Kid Program. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Good News Home, a nonprofit short and long-term residential rehabilitation facility that helps women break- free from the vicious cycle of drug and/or alcohol addiction and helps them recover from its devastating effects. Located on a farmstead, the "Home" provides its residents a spiritually based, comprehensive recovery program regardless of race, religion or the ability to pay.
