United Way of Hunterdon County and Hunterdon County Family Success
Center will host a Halloween Costume Swap & Fall Festival on Saturday,
October 10. The event will take place at the Flemington Woman's Club on Park Avenue.
Prior to the event, donors can drop off gently used or new costumes at the United Way of
Hunterdon County at 4 Walter Foran Blvd, Suite 401 in Flemington. Costumes can also be
donated on the day of the event. Extra costumes will be available even if you do not have a
costume to swap! In addition to picking out a new costume, children can also participate in
face painting and other fun activities and enjoy tasty fall treats! This event is completely free
of charge. The National Halloween Costume Swap Day is a Green America project that helps
raise awareness on ways to "go green" for Halloween. For more information, please

Costumes can be dropped off at the United Way office in Flemington at 4 Walter Foran
Blvd, Suite 401, Mon.-Fri. from 9:00 am to 5:00 am or by appointment.

new, free monthly offering on September 22, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm includes
a light dinner and covers topics such as; the divorce process, child custody
and support, protecting yourself legally and financially, helping your family
cope, dealing with a hostile spouse, dividing property and tax consequences.
• The Lunchtime Book Discussion Group for Women meets September 24,
12 noon-1:15 pm. Open to the public, but pre-registration is required. "The
Big Leap: Conquer your Hidden Fear and Take Life to the Next Level" by Gay
Hendricks, PhD. In The Big Leap, Gay Hendricks, the NY Times bestselling author of Five
Wishes, demonstrates how to eliminate the barriers to success by overcoming false fears and
beliefs. Discussion groups attendees will find useful, effective tips for breaking down the walls

Quarterly workshops, series and group programs include: Microsoft Office for
the present day, certification of completion offered. Empowerment series, job readiness,
job club workshop; online job and career search workshops are also offered quarterly. Our
