The film examines the history of Round Valley as it underwent the extraordinary change from a farming community that had existed for centuries before being flooded in the mid-20th century to make a reservoir to head off future droughts. The documentary will have its hometown premiere in Readington Township on Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 pm at The Polish American Citizens Club, 29 Kline Blvd., Whitehouse Station. Stephanie Stevens will introduce the program and will be joined by Emma Haver, state and local representatives, as well as local civic and arts leaders for what promises to be a singular artistic and historical experience for New Jersey history and culture. Tickets are $5 per person at the door. There will be a Q&A with the producers and director following the screening. Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase. Saturday March 14: The Polish American Citizens Club, 29 Kline Blvd., Whitehouse Station, will host a "Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner" on start- ing at 4 pm.
