It seems the long series of snow storms knocked the wind out of the early Spring market and it never really came roaring back the way we'd have thought. The trend since 2012 has been for more sales and higher prices every year, as you can see on my Market News blog at ClintonRealEstate.com, and 2015 will be no exception. Buyers are out there and they're looking for a home like yours! Donald Sherblom, Coldwell Banker, Clinton, 908.735.8080 ext. 132. Please call my cell: 908.797.9900. The Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick–Hunterdon County (FSSP) an- nounced their March lineup to commemorate Saint Patrick's Day. Starting on March 7 at the Grand Colonial in Hampton, 250 Irishmen and Irishwomen will gather to dine, dance, recognize the Irishman of the Year and raise funds to help County families in need. According to Friendly Sons President Shaun Connolly "the Irishman of the Year recognizes an Irishman who has exemplified the Friendly Sons of St Patrick founding principles; has assisted the community at large; and has provided a shining example which all Irish Americans can point to with great pride." The evening also features Irish dancing to the music of Danny And The Boys, world class Irish step dancers and a traditional Irish American dinner. The following week, on Sunday March 15 at 3:00 pm, the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick host the 2nd Annual Hunterdon County St Patrick's Day Parade through the Town of Clinton. According to Parade Chairman Rich Hall, the parade will highlight Irish American culture and include lots of music, dance and fascinating attractions. The pipe and drum bands will be a highlight, along with the world class Irish dancers, musicians, singers, dogs and much more. Major parade sponsors include: The Provident Bank, Bill Healy Designs, CenturyLink, The Clinton Guild and Montrose Molders. High profile sponsorship positions are still available. According to the group's President Connolly "We raise and donate tens of thousands of dollars to families in need but that is only part of why we exist. Our mission has always included promoting and preserving Irish American culture through activities like this parade." The parade will be followed by a celebration at the Clinton Fire House, including Irish American food and drink.
