Skylands LaxFest! Blue Sky Boutique Grades 3-12 • Sunday, September 29, 9am to 12 pm • NHHS Visit www.greenandgoldlacrosse.com to register Blue Sky Boutique opened one year ago at the Stangl Factory in Flemington, which is located at the corner of Mine Street and Stangl Road behind Blue Fish Grill. Clinton Township resident Sue Goodwin owns the store and her fifteen- year- old daughter Emma helps out when she's not in school. Both work hard to ensure that clothing and accessories sold at Blue Sky are unique, original and imaginative. "I want women and teenage girls to look and feel authentically amazing," she says. "Clothing is one way we express our creativity and we have affordable choices at Blue Sky that you won't find elsewhere." North Hunterdon High School Boys Lacrosse and Green and Gold Lacrosse are proud to co-sponsor our first annual "Skylands Laxfest" for youth players grades 3-12. Players will be grouped by age and skill level. Laxfest will focus on the fundamentals of the game for all levels. We'll incorporate a variety of drills and competitions covering stick skills, position specific training, team concepts and finishing up with a Skills Challenge! Players will also have the opportunity to work with Coach Brian Brecht of Rutgers University and Coach Mike Schambach of DeSales University as well as members of the Rutgers and DeSales lacrosse teams. High school players will be able to scrimmage and work with the college coaches and players. Cost is $40 and includes a Skylands Laxfest pinnie and Headstrong Foundation gift. A portion of the net proceeds will be donated to the Headstrong Foundation! Green and Gold Lacrosse is a non-profit organization that fields competitive teams primarily from the North Hunterdon High School sending districts, grades 5-8 to participate in organized winter league games and a competitive summer tournament experience. We also field Junior Varsity and Varsity teams primarily for players currently enrolled at North Hunterdon High School. Pro-Activity works with local Eagle Scout to open public trail a n d c e l e b r at e 1 5 y e a r s i n b u s i n e s s by Joe Galioto Pro-Activity Associates, LLC in Lebanon started in September 1998 as the brainchild of siblings Amy and Mike Eisenhart & continued to grow as they worked to evolve a small physical therapy practice into a "full-service human achievement company." Today, Pro-Activity provides workplace wellness programs to multiple Fortune 500 companies, and athletic performance and fitness training, physical therapy, health coaching, and healthier eating alternatives (via their Fuel Good Cafe) to individuals, families, corporations, and teams.   But more than just the services they provide, Pro-Activity has made it their business to invest in and support the communities that surround them.  With the opening of their BaseCamp 31 facility in 2010, Pro-Activity formalized the launch of a separate, community-member directed 501(c)3 non-profit organization, whose mission is to foster healthy community and personal development through shared experiences of like-minded people. Pro-Activity partner Eric Eisenhart who also chairs the BaseCamp 31 not-forprofit commented, "At Pro-Activity we often use words like goals, journey and achievement, and believe that with the right information and coaching, and when surrounded by an environment designed to support, extraordinary human achievements is inevitable.  So we couldn't think of any better way to celebrate Pro-Activity's 15 year milestone than to join up with the BaseCamp 31 community, and Eagle Scout candidate Nathan Gartlegruber, Troop 191 in Bethlehem Township, to build a public walking and jogging trail on the Pro-Activity grounds - to secure his Eagle Scout rank and signify the next segment of our journey!" Pro-Activity Associates, LLC is located at 1250 - Route 31, Lebanon, NJ. To learn more, call them at 908-730-6640 or visit them online at: www.pro-activity.com. 4 www.ClintonTwpNewsletter.com O c t o b e r With 1200 square feet of retail space the store has something for most shoppers. Its interior is best described as "factory-chic" with a decidedly funky vibe. Think Chelsea Market. "My goal," says Sue, "is for mothers and daughters to shop together happily, contentedly, and each find something wonderful to take home." She encourages potential shoppers to "like" the store on Facebook in order to stay apprised of new deliveries.
