Raritan Valley Habitat must find another person to help coordinate
Habitat Youth Council or they may be forced to drop this $10-12K
fundraising group which also does an enormous job of advocating
for RVHFH. Volunteer Position: Habitat Youth Co-Coordinator: Be
a mentor for the next generation! We're looking for 1 or 2 adult volunteers
to coordinate the Habitat Youth Council during the 2013-2014 school year. You'll
run monthly Habitat Youth meetings encouraging participation, advocacy and
fundraising. You'll assist the students with their main event, the Mr. Habitat
Contest, and assist as necessary with their school functions. Additional events
are a Halloween Bash 10/26 and Breakfast with Santa TBA. Must be a motivated
communicator and text-savvy person who can ensure communications within

The CEA/Johanna Foods Turkey Trot 5K Run and Fitness walk in Flemington
is celebrating its 21st Anniversary on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28. The event
continues to grow and thrive! Last year 6,096 participants represented 33
states, the District of Columbia as well as Canada and England, making it the
largest participatory sporting event in the region. Proceeds from this festive
event benefit the Center for Educational Advancement (CEA) whose
mission is to educate, empower and employ individuals with special
needs. The 5K run starts at 9:45am and is essentially the same USATF-NJ
certified and sanctioned course it has been since the event began back in 1993.
The Fitness Walk has been extended to approximately 2 miles and will kick
off the festivities at 9:15am. Electronic registration for the 5K Run and

Fall is here... and with it comes the annual Tricky Tray sponsored by
the Woman's Club of Clinton and the Voorhees Key Club! The date is
Friday, October 11, at the Voorhees High School Cafeteria. There will
be a wide variety of gift baskets that include both unique and functional items,
as well as "kids" baskets, gift certificates, a basket of cheer and door prizes.
Doors open at 6:30 pm. $5 admission includes a sheet of tickets; children are
