I am excited to continue to be a part of the PMG team as a first-year kindergarten teacher. I hold a Master's degree from Rutgers University with dual certification in Elementary and Special Education, along with an Orton-Gillingham teaching certificate. My background helps me tailor my approach to meet every student's unique needs, ensuring our classroom is a welcoming, dynamic space where everyone can thrive. I live right here in the town of Clinton, and outside of school, my world revolves around family. You can usually find me spending quality time with my husband and toddler, relaxing at the beach, diving into a good book, or picking up a fun new hobby! www.ctsdnj.org C L I N T O N T O W N S H I P S C H O O L N E W S On August 26 we held the district-wide, back-to-school convocation. At the event we welcome new staff, celebrate tenure, and honor years of service. After a breakfast donated by the CTSD Board of Education, three of our teachers, Kelly Hill, Danielle Nugent, and Amanda Wayne led the staff in professional development related to cultivating a growth and gratitude environment. The rest of the day was dedicated to additional professional development and getting classrooms ready to welcome back our learners. Back to School is a time of celebration and we will continue to celebrate the students, staff and district success as we work on our district goals and help our students continue to grow as learners and positive contributors to society. Richard Tarriff Robin Kiefer Jennifer Topping I N O U R S C H O O L S : Spruce Run Preschool As the leaves begin to turn, our Spruce Run preschoolers are settling into the rhythm of the school year, and it's been so much fun to watch. Using our Creative Curriculum program, we've been diving into hands-on activities and lots of purposeful play, and the growth we're already seeing is wonderful. Our students have been learning to name and talk about their feelings: happy, sad, excited, and everything in between, which is helping them connect with their classmates and navigate their day. On the playground, we've been working on gross-motor skills through obstacle courses and lots of running, jumping, and climbing. Inside, fine-motor activities like stringing beads and using scissors are helping little hands get stronger every day. And thanks to circle time and our daily routines, students are getting great practice listening and following directions while enjoying story time. We are so proud of how far they've come already. We've also loved connecting with our SRPS families outside the classroom! Thank you to the PTA for the fun Ice Cream Social in September. It was great seeing our families there. And we can't wait for the PTA Book Fair this October! Please join us in welcoming Ms. Tricia Mendez, our new Teaching Assistant in Ms. Krupnik's class! She brings years of experience working with preschoolers and has already been a great addition to our classroom. We are seeking members for our SPRS ECAC Team! Early Childhood Advisory Council is an advisory group of community stakeholders interested in the education and welfare of children that is convened by the school district.
