Round Valley School March at Round Valley School: Reading and Science: March was a busy and engaging month at Round Valley School, with students diving into both reading and science in some fun and meaningful ways. The month began with Read Across America Week, complete with reading-themed spirit days and a PTA celebration of reading that brought the school community together around books. The Clinton Township Foundation also hosted a Read-a-Thon to encourage students to make daily reading a habit and to help foster a genuine love of books. From there, attention turned to science. The PTA sponsored The Super Science Show, an interactive assembly that had students engaged and curious. The month wrapped up with Science Night, where local scientists visited the school, a book fair was held and students had the opportunity to present their own projects in a judged science fair. It was a great month of learning, and we are grateful to our PTA, Foundation, and community partners for making it all possible. Clinton Township Middle School On Friday, February 27, CTMS hosted the 16th Annual Relay for Life. The tradition, started by Ms. Cormican sixteen years ago, continued this year with the lofty goal of reaching $500,000 raised for cancer research since the event began. I am happy to announce that after this year's event, that goal has been met! The American Cancer Society recognized Relay for Life Event Leadership Team members and individuals for making this milestone possible. Additionally, the entire CTMS community participated in a Change for Hope homeroom challenge, purchased luminarias, and made donations to this incredible organization. During the event, school and community members gathered to participate in the opening ceremony, relay activities, and a closing ceremony, all led by our student Event Leadership Team. Overall, it was a beautiful event in support of a great cause. TREP$ is a student entrepreneur program, where students create, market, and sell items at a Student Marketplace. This year we have 160 students participating, and they are creating many creative and unique items to sell. MARK YOUR CALENDAR for Tuesday, April 21 from 6:00-8:00 pm! Corey Bunnicelli was the recipient of our 2026 Unsung Hero Award.
