O p e n h O u s e a t t h e h i s t O r i C b O u m a n - s t i C k n e y F a r m s t e a d The Readington Museums invites visitors to attend an Open House at the Bouman-Stickney Farmstead on Sunday, February 1, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. During this event, guests will have the opportunity to take guided tours of the historic 1741 home, gaining insights into its rich past and architectural features. In addition to the tours, attendees are welcome to hike the scenic Bouman-Stickney Trail, which winds through the picturesque farmstead, offering a unique perspective on the surrounding landscape. Dear Ladies, Hoping all are well and feeling the patriotic fervor blooming as we celebrate this banner year for our country! Resuming our homage to American History and 250th year of our independence, we continue with the series that chronicles the struggle, bravery and commitment of the colonists. So far with Episodes 1 & 2 we've seen how the movement toward independence began – how these amazing individuals incensed by the tyranny of Britain inspired each other (even some staunch Loyalists) to fight for liberty – thus leading to the formation of the Continental Army. With George Washington as commander, the colonists would challenge the most powerful military in the world! The story continues... • Episode 3 - The Times That Try Men's Souls.
