Round Valley School
Round Valley Elementary School: Winter Highlights: Winter at Round
Valley School has been filled with meaningful learning experiences and
community connections. Our students celebrated the season with a PTA
hosted winter celebration. Students wore pajamas, played games and had
snacks as part of the festivities, bringing smiles throughout the building.
The Clinton Township Foundation successfully concluded its
inaugural session of before and after school clusters, offering students
enrichment opportunities in areas including Legos, knitting, art, and
more. This new partnership has opened doors for students to explore
their interests beyond the regular school day.
Our young musicians showcased their growing talents through two
memorable concerts, the 5th grade band and orchestra performance and
the 3-5th grade chorus concert. Meanwhile, our Golden Eagles singing
and drama group demonstrated their theatrical abilities during a special
showcase performance for their families, highlighting the creativity and
confidence our students continue to develop.
Reading remains at the heart of our winter activities. Students are
currently engaged in our annual Read Bowl, fostering their love of
literacy through friendly competition. We're also proud to be celebrating
our sixth year of participation in the Global Day of Play, reinforcing the
importance of active play and physical wellness in our students' lives.
These winter months have demonstrated the strong partnership
between our school, families, and community organizations working
together to provide well rounded experiences for every Round Valley
student.
