Our students have learned and grown so much under the care and guidance of our teachers and staff members. Our buildings continued to work towards sustainable schools certification and should have an exciting announcement in the Fall. We received grants and donations to plant trees, create tutoring opportunities, expand our preschool, improve communication and celebrate our staff. We have continued t o w o r k o n r e v i s i n g o u r c u r r i c u l u m t o i n c r e a s e students' knowledge in skills in various content areas, and we have set ambitious district goals for next year and beyond. We can clearly say the 2024-2025 school year was a success! W e w a n t t o t h a n k o u r retirees for their service to the students in the district. It is the dedication of our teachers and staff that make this district so special. We have a lot of work to do in the next few months as we look forward to starting school again on August 27, 2025. We want to remind our students, and even the adults to take the time to read every day. Since the summer gives us longer hours of daylight, it is the perfect opportunity to sit in the shade and read a great book! We hope our students have a great summer break and we thank the community for their continued support of CTSD. – Sincerely, Dr. Melissa Stager, Ed.D Superintendent, CTSD A MESSAGE FROM DR. STAGER, CTSD SUPERINTENDENT: I N O U R S C H O O L S : Patrick McGaheran School Spring brought a wonderful flurry of activity to our school halls! We've had many recent events at PMG that celebrate our students and staff. Arts Fest, coordinated by our art teacher, Mrs. Noone transformed our school into a vibrant gallery of student creativity featuring art displays, a photo booth, glow- art and clay sculpture displays. The walls came alive with colorful expressions of imagination that were enjoyed by all who attended! Spruce Run School It's a busy time of the year, especially at Spruce Run Preschool! Our classrooms celebrated our Dads by hosting Donuts with Dads, followed by the ever popular Field Day! The students enjoyed working together as a class throughout several fun-filled stations and ended with enjoying some ice pops! Spruce Run is also excited to be celebrating our Preschool students who will be moving on to Kindergarten next year. The students sang songs to family and friends and were presented with certificates to celebrate their learning!
