Who doesn't love a good mystery? Come to an illustrated talk at the
Tewksbury Historical Society on May 18 and learn how Jeffery Marshall uncovers
the mysteries buried in historic houses and properties. The talk takes place at the
Christian Education Building of the Zion Lutheran Church, 18 Miller
Avenue, Oldwick, 08858, at 1:00 pm. Guests welcome; refreshments served.
Jeffery Marshall, retired President of the Heritage Conservancy, focuses on
unraveling the history of houses based on architectural elements. He visits historic
houses and barns to explain a building's history and changes citing visible clues.
His findings are not found in recorded deeds or diaries. He presents an "Old House
CSI". Marshall, a nationally recognized expert on historic houses and barns, is past
Chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Barn Alliance and Historic
Barn and Farm Foundation of Pennsylvania. He is the recipient of the Otto Haas
Award, the highest honor for lifetime achievement in the field of preservation,
bestowed by Preservation Pennsylvania.
