Explore the life of the Marquis de Lafayette, from his early years in the French court to his heroic role in the American Revolution. The show alternates between captivating historical narrative and live musical performances on the violin and hammered dulcimer, featuring songs from the American and French Revolutions. This program honors the French- American hero and commemorates his return tour to the United States in 1824-1825, which took place at the invitation of President Monroe. The Bouman-Stickney Farmstead is located at 114 Dreahook Road in the Stanton section of the township. For GPS use Lebanon, NJ 08833. This is a free, family-friendly event, although donations will be gratefully accepted. Reservations are highly recommended for seating inside the Barn. The OCG provides a community-oriented and encouraging environment for individuals, families, and community organizations to grow their own organic produce. Garden plots are available in three sizes in order to meet a variety of needs.
