Their commitment to volunteering mirrors that of exemplary employees, creating an enjoyable experience for all involved. We are particularly grateful for the remarkable team of women at Yesterday's Treasures of Hunterdon Health Foundation. They curate a charming store filled with an ever-evolving selection of home décor, exquisite art, elegant jewelry, and a variety of unique household items. Their hard work and sacrificing of time is leading to a top year in raising funds for Hunterdon Health Foundation. The creativity and passion of these women shine through in every donation item they handle from local families. They work together as a supportive community, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that fosters a sense of belonging. We have a matching group of dedicated volunteers that run the Hunterdon Medical Center Lobby Shop. They often work with visitors and employees alike treating each as a friend seeing to their needs or helping to answer any questions they may have. It's this spirit of generosity and kindness that truly sets our county apart, creating a ripple effect of goodwill and inspiration for others to follow. As we celebrate their contributions, we are reminded of the profound impact that a small group of committed individuals can have, not only on a local level but also in the broader tapestry of society. Yesterday's Treasures is located at 215 Route 31 South in Flemington. The Holiday Hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Volunteering at Yesterday's Treasures or the HMC Gift Shop offers a unique opportunity to connect with others and contribute to the community in meaningful ways. Whether you are drawn to the idea of social responsibility or simply looking for a fulfilling way to spend your free time, this experience can cater to your personal motivations. Volunteers often find a sense of belonging and satisfaction in knowing they are making a positive impact on the lives of family, friends, and neighbors. With a variety of roles available, you can find an opportunity that aligns with your interests and utilizes your skills, enriching both your life and the lives of those you help. From organizing events to assisting with daily operations, every contribution is valued and makes a difference, ensuring a rewarding experience for all involved.
