All dogs living in the Township must be licensed annually during January.
Puppies do not need to be licensed until six (6) months of age. Unlicensed dogs are subject to summons from the
Animal Control Officer. Please notify us if your dog is deceased or no longer living in Clinton Township.

Rabies certificate must be good until October 31, 2025 to receive the annual license per N.J.A.C 8:23A 4.1.
If your dog cannot be vaccinated, a licensed veterinarian will need to complete a Rabies Exempt Form.
If you're licensing for the first time, a copy of the rabies certification must be submitted. If this is a renewal,
and the rabies shot does not expire before October 31, 2025, you do not need to submit the certificate. Please go to:

LATE FEES: $4 PER MONTH, PER DOG, AFTER March 1, 2025
(Late fees do not apply if licensing your dog for the first time.)
