Storytelling is an emerging communication approach to differentiate businesses from others and connect authentically with customers, business partners and competitors. The January workshop, led by storyteller and humor educator, Joey Novick, delves into the benefits of storytelling including simplifying complex messages, boosting emotional engagement and increasing customer loyalty. Through interactive activities and hands-on experiences, attendees will leave with practical storytelling techniques that can be applied immediately to improve communications, branding and marketing, teamwork and business outcomes. "Storytelling is not a new concept, but what is new is how storytelling connects customers and communities through business stories. This workshop is an opportunity for attendees to tap into their creativity and develop narratives which connect people to their story at work and in the marketplace." said Chamber President/CEO Chris Phelan. The workshop is scheduled January 15 at 8:00 am-10:00 am at the Unity Center for Business and Entrepreneurship, 119 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. The cost for members is $30 and $45 for non-members, including refreshments. Future storytellers can register for this workshop via the Chamber's website: www.hunterdon-chamber.org or by calling: 908.782.7115. The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce, established in 1916, represents over 600 member organizations with over 15,000 employees.
