The preschool is located in the state-of-the-art Telyas Chabad Jewish Center. The preschool is open to the entire community, and registration is in full swing for the new school year, which starts on September 4. The preschool offers classes for ages eighteen months through four years old. Hunterdon Preschool of the Arts is set upon a beautiful, ten-acre campus designed by leading experts in the field of early child- hood development to nurture children's cu- riosity, creativity, and self-expression. All class- rooms open directly outside, allowing for seamless learning in our indoor-outdoor classrooms. In our outdoor space, a combination of grassy and wooded areas, children are free to explore, examine, discover and grow, fostering the natural connection between the earth and the child, creating a lifelong love of nature. Children have the opportunity to explore their environment and its functions at their own pace, making discoveries that are meaningful to them. The innate curiosity within children leads them to observe and learn about the world around them. Our integrated preschool curriculum is infused with Jewish values and draws inspi- ration from the Reggio Emilia, Montessori, Curiosity and Play Based approaches. Judaism emphasizes the importance of early childhood education, likening each child to a delicate seed that needs to be lovingly nurtured to blossom into a big strong tree. Our philosophy allows each child to bloom at their own pace, with their unique light and energy enhancing our classroom. Our comprehensive curriculum consists of a variety of programs that are open-ended and reflective. We showcase each student's individuality and help children discover their interests through a variety of hands-on experiences. Our classrooms are guided by the principle of "every person is an entire world," which values and nurtures each child's unique- ness and perspective. Dan and Michelle Keinan's (of Flem- ington) five-year-old daughter Paz has recently graduated from the Hunterdon Preschool of the Arts; "We just celebrated our daughter's graduation yesterday, and it was just the BEST experience!!! The environment is beautiful – the new building is stunning – and the community is so lovely and warm, welcoming and friendly. Ms Rachel, who runs the school, is exceptional - a trusted advocate, guide and expert in raising a whole and happy child. Nicholas and Samella Pampani raved about the experience of their two-year old son Benjamin "We only have amazing things to say. Our son was there for two years and, if we could, he still would be for the rest of his school career." The preschool and its staff and teachers work together with parents and children to foster each child's social, emotional, and cognitive development. The teacher acts as a guide and facilitator, ensuring that each child experiences a variety of enjoyable and challenging learning op- portunities. We encourage your child's creativity and artistic expres- sion and help your child develop a love for learning, a love that is deep, wide, and ever-growing. We showcase each student's individuality and help children discover their interests through a variety of hands-on and reflective experiences. Our warm and caring classroom atmosphere is filled with exciting learning experiences that constantly evolve to meet children's changing needs. We are committed to keeping our class sizes small, ensuring that each child receives the connection and love they deserve. Our expe- rienced preschool staff and teachers ensure each child feels safe, welcomed, and nurtured in our environment. Our comprehensive, holistic program is designed to promote each child's intellectual, social, physical, and emotional growth.
