1 7 f e b r u a r y 2 0 2 4 Round Valley School Winter at RVS: Students, staff and families at Round V al l e y S c hool hav e a l ot t o l ook forward to this winter! The 5th Grade Band and Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Jayson Hill, performed in concert at Clinton Township Middle School, showcasing all the musical skills they've developed. The 4th and 5th Grade Choruses, let by Mrs. Noël McCormick, also held a concert at CTMS, highlighting the beauty of their voices. In February we participate in the annual Global Day of Play, providing students with the opportunity to engage in cooperative games and activities for a day. The PTA sponsored Bingo Night and Family Movie Night are among favorite winter activities for students. Students were also presented with an assembly by Ball in the House perform thanks to our PTA. T h e w i n t e r m o n t h s p r o m i s e e n g a g i n g experiences for the whole Round Valley School community! Clinton Township Middle School Has cancer turned your life upside down? At CTMS we are going to team up against cancer on Friday, February 23. This will be our 14th year hosting this fundraising event for the American Cancer Society, and our school community has raised over $430,000 in the fight against cancer! Relay for Life is a family-friendly fundraiser, and we come together to Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back. Cancer survivors and caregivers are our special guests, and you are invited to join us! The Foundation, operated by a Board of Trustees, and working i n c o n j u n c t i o n w i t h t h e B o a r d of Education and school district representatives, is committed to funding innovative educational programs, services and material/ equipment purchases initiated through grant requests submitted by teachers and administrators in the Clinton Township School District. It's important to note that these programs and services would not otherwise be funded through the regular school budget.
