February 14: Early Dismissal (for students) Professional Development Day February 19: School Closed Presidents' Day IMPORTANT DATES TO KEEP IN MIND THIS MONTH: A MESSAGE FROM DR. STAGER, CTSD SUPERINTENDENT: Dear Clinton Township Community Members, Part of what makes Clinton Township a special place to live is that it has rural roots, but opportunities for close knit neighborhoods. Beautiful open spaces are a strong feature of this area and are part of the reason why my husband and I were originally drawn to Hunterdon County. Having a spread out community is nice at times, but it does make it necessary to transport many students to school via school bus. As the labor shortage continues, both nationally and locally, it is becoming increasingly difficult for entities to find bus drivers. With fewer bus drivers students have to be on the bus for longer periods of times, and at times it makes it more difficult for students to even arrive to school on time. This is where we are asking for the community's help. Please consider driving a bus for Hunterdon County ESC which serves North Hunterdon Voorhees School District, Clinton Township School District, and many other neighboring districts. You will get FREE training, and you will work only a few hours in the morning (6:15 - 9:30) or a few hours in the afternoon (1:45- 4:30). It is a great way to give back to the community while making some extra income. A great bus driver also sets the tone for our young learners day at school. If you are interested in helping by driving a bus, please Email DHeater@hunterdonesc. org for information on becoming a bus driver. – Sincerely, Dr. Melissa Stager, Ed.D, Superintendent, CTSD C L I N T O N T O W N S H I P S C H O O L N E W S www.ctsdnj.org Kindergarten Info Night information Although the weather is cold outside, we are making plans for entrance into our kindergarten program in the Fall of 2024!
