Hey Julie – Just wanted to let you know how
much I loved reading your September column
on "archeology." I loved finding arrowheads
and pieces of pottery at my great grandfathers
backyard as well, it made great childhood
memories collecting these treasures! As an adult
I think it paved the way to learn and discover my
ancestors, and eventually become a Daughter
of the American Revolution. I loved your last sentence "While looking
toward the future, we also need to try to listen to the (sometimes silent)

Hello Julie - Mane Stream would like to thank you for sharing our Horses
for Healing, for people living with cancer, notice back in the Spring. One
of your readers saw the notice and immediately called the office with
interest in joining our Free program. From that first call, we couldn't wait
for him to come to the farm because we just knew he would be perfect for
the program. Well, he joined the Fall 2022 session and everyone thinks
he's one of the sweetest guys ever. He even came to our 50th Anniversary
Gala and had a blast! Thank you so much for sharing our news!

Looking for some riding boots, britches, or a saddle, perhaps? Mane
Stream might just have what you need! This non-profit organization, which
offers adaptive riding lessons and therapy services to help improve the quality of
life for people with physical, developmental, emotional, and medical challenges,
is hosting a HUGE Tack Sale on Saturday, November 6 from 8:00 am to
4:00 pm located at 83 Old Turnpike Road in Oldwick, NJ. This tack sale
will include NEW and used items, such as tack, riding apparel, blankets, stable
equipment, and much more. We have brand-name items, such as Ariat, Dover,
Baker, Tailored Sportsman, and Essex, to name a few. All proceeds from
the sale will benefit Mane Stream's horses and therapy programs. Mane Stream
accepts horse-related donated items year-round. If you would like to make
