From November 15th onward: Please check the Township's website for the current status of leaf collection, including areas that have been completed and where Public Works anticipates collecting in the near future. Updates will be posted at the end of each week. Weather and other unexpected events may result in changes or delays to the anticipated collection schedule. Please follow these guidelines: 1. DPW CANNOT ACCEPT: • Piles of leaves with sticks, branches and grass clippings, as this damages the machines • Bagged leaves. 2. Please do not rake leaves into the roadway, as this obstructs drainage. 3. Do not pile onto drainage ditches 4. All residents are encouraged to compost leaves on their own property if possible. Public Works will be collecting leaves in these areas as time and resources allow but, due to other responsibilities, cannot commit to doing so within a specific time frame. Public Works appreciates your cooperation and patience to ensure the program's success RESIDENTS SHOULD BE ADVISED: Trees in the right of way are the responsibility of the property owner.
