This will be my ninth year of teaching, previously having taught in Warren County for eight years. I graduated with my bachelors degree and masters degree in elementary education from Fairleigh Dickinson University. After graduation, I gained experience teaching many different grade levels including 2nd Grade, Pre-K, and K-3 Basic Skills Instruction. As a former student of the Clinton Township School District, I am so happy to be back at Round Valley and teaching third grade! My goals for this school year are to create a positive classroom environment where students are able to grow to the best of their abilities. It is going to be a great year! RVS Welcomes 3rd Grade Special Education Teacher Kari Stiansen Hi! My name is Kari Stiansen and I am so excited to be joining the third grade team at Round Valley School! This will be my fifth year teaching and my second year at RVS. I graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College with a Bachelor's degree in Childhood Education and Special Education. Last school year, I had the chance to step into a leave replacement role as the Enrichment teacher and then the Technology teacher at RVS. I'm thrilled to continue working in such a wonderful, loving community! I look forward to getting to know you and your family and helping your children reach their full potential. RVS Welcomes 4th Grade Special Education Teacher Marisa Gasalberti. Hello! I am so excited to begin my teaching career at Round Valley School as a fourth grade special education teacher for Mr. Lovering's homeroom. I will be working closely with both Mrs. Topping and Mr. Lovering this school year to ensure individualized, successful, and fun learning for all students. I am a recent graduate of Seton Hall University, certified in K-6, Elementary/Special Education. Fun fact: I completed my student teaching at RVS during the 2021-2022 school year, in fourth grade! My goals for this school year are for my students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I hope to reinforce a growth mindset and instill the power of "yet" in my students. I am most passionate about creating "forever learners", students who never lose the desire to learn and try new things, despite challenges that may arise!
