When six comics, three acts, and a ventriloquist get together to support local charities using the wonderful gift of laughter at one side splitting performance... Just forget it all and laugh. JOIN US at New Jersey's Festival of Laughs, a multi-day event featuring the Tri-State area's top comedians. It all begins on September 16 in Flemington with the LAUGH PACK, a supergroup of modern day entertainers. This variety show of magic, ventriloquism and music and – most of all, LAUGHTER – will awaken the imagination, entertain and provide an experience you'll never forget. John Lombardi (aka GEMINI, a local comedian, ventriloquist and magician) wanted to do something for the people in his neighborhood, his idea grew with the help of some of his greatest friends who happen to be the top comedians in their field. Charities needed money, people needed to laugh, and the Festival of Laughs was born. Come join us for our dinner/show package – it runs through September 24 at the historic Stangl Factory. Check out our website at: www.FestivalOfLaughsNJ.com for more information on dates, time and location, or call: 908.823.4647. c h e e r S t o 5 0 y e A r S ! Court Appointed Special Advocates of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties (CASA SHaW) recruit, screen, train and supervise community volunteers to act as advocates in court for children living in foster care. CASA volunteers are appointed by a family court judge to discover the best possible outcome for an abused or neglected child's future as well as make recommendations that support the child's current needs. Volunteers receive support and supervision from a trained social worker throughout the duration of their cases. To find out more, visit: www.casashaw.org, call 908.689.5515, or email: info@casashaw.org.
