Brett Vrancken, owner of Certi-Spyed Home Inspections, and his
wife, a Hunterdon County school teacher, have lived in Clinton Township for
over 27 years. They believe that moving here was one of the best decisions
for their family. Professionally, Brett graduated from Virginia Tech in 1985
with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and worked briefly for the Navy in
that regard. He was lured away by the financial markets and spent 15 years
trading in Philadelphia and New York City.
After surviving a close call on 9/11 while working on the NYMEX,
Brett regrouped and opened a small business in Easton, spending 17 successful
years as the Vrankens raised their family. He also moonlighted as a licensed
real estate agent in PA, giving him valuable experience in the residential real
estate market. Brett recently sold his primary PA business and transitioned
to a career more suited to his interests and acquired skill-set.
Brett is licensed by the State of NJ as a Residential Home Inspector,
a Radon Measurement Technician, a Certified Professional Inspector by
InterNACHI, and a licensed Drone Pilot by the FAA. He has extensive
experience in basement renovations, deck building, and a rather serious
woodworking hobby. As an engineer, entrepreneur, woodworker, and avid
home improvement enthusiast, Brett looks forward to satisfying his passions
while providing a valuable service to our community.
