A P r a c t i c a l A pp r o a c h H awk P o i n t e G o l f C l u b is More Than Golf! Visit Hawk Pointe Golf Club and you will get a sense of community committed to preserving New Jersey's lush green trees, wildlife and pre-revolutionary history. Original plans for the 320-acres of land located off of Route 31 in Washington called for a vast housing development which would have had adverse effects on the surrounding areas. However, the Hawk Pointe vision created a balance between open space and development. The new plan transformed the land into a self-sustaining, land-based planning project which would benefit local, rural communities and not damage the delicate environmental balance or the significance of the land. Hawk Pointe has provided a minimum of 80% open space in the form of a championship 18-hole golf course, created jobs to support the local economy and put in place many sustainable initiatives including wildlife conservation, historical preservation, alternative energy and locally sourced agriculture. Visit our website at www.hawkpointegolf.com or contact Angela Wilson at 908.689.1445 to learn more about Hawk Pointe Golf Club. Spirits of the Red Mill Evening Tours! Without ALL, we would not function optimally!  Here are a few things to remember:   Carbs: Eat fruits, veggies (five a day or more!), and complex carbs with whole grains listed first on ingredient lists. Whole grains take longer to process and won't be as quick to be stored away as fat. Protein: We don't need as much as we may think. On average, men need only 56 grams daily, and women only 46; just over a 6 oz serving of lean meat (about the size of 2 decks of cards! Fat: Fat intake (depending on type) is necessary! Monosaturated and polyunsaturated fats (from olive and canola oils, nuts, seeds, and fish) keep the cardiovascular system healthy and maintain brain health. C l i n t o n T wp . H o m e s S a l e s U p ! In fact, in recent months nearly twice as many Clinton Twp. homes sold as last Spring. Sales are up across Hunterdon County (see graph inside back cover) but the homes market is strongest along the I-78 corridor, in Readington and Clinton Township(s). Today's buyers face the opportunity of a lifetime: low home prices combined with low interest rates! The recent spike in mortgage rates from an incredible 3% to 3.5% has incentivized buyers to make their move. Every month I post the listing information and pictures of all recently sold Clinton Township homes on my ClintonRealEstate.com web site. And every chance I get, I enjoy talking about local real estate and sharing insights from my 16 years' experience. Please call me to open that conversation Donald Sherblom, Coldwell Banker, Clinton (908) 735-8080, x132. Best to call my cell: (908) 797-9900 Thanks! S u mm e r • www .
