Hands-on activities foster kids' innate curiosity about nature and wildlife. Canoeing specialists host the paddling clinics and canoe trips with our older campers. We offer wonderful and diverse habitats for the campers to explore, including stream, pond, field and forest areas. Summer Nature Program Camps: Nature Bugs, Nature Discovery, Pioneers, Junior Explorers, Senior Explorers and Environmental Camp. • Multi Sports Camp: The County and U.S. Sports Institute are offering a Multi Sports Camp. Children will experience over 15 different sports plus participate in team building games and fun activities. Campers receive technical instruction in each sport and then experience it in a realistic game. Bring enough water to last an entire day, snacks and lunch, and wear appropriate clothing, footwear and sunscreen. Our Summer Sports Program Camps are: Sports Squirts, Volley Ball Camp, Canoe Camp and Sports for a Lifetime Camp. • Orchestra Camp: Excellent opportunity for students to work in small-group situations, as well as a full orchestra. Campers performe for family and friends at Deer Path Park on Friday night. • Performance Camp: Combines time-tested themes with original music and dialogue and inventive staging and choreography. Children have the opportunity to stage an original musical–each week is a different show. Week ends with a performance for family and friends at Deer Path Park followed by a picnic. Campers also create the set, make costumes, create craft projects and participate in theatre and water games. Registration required/first-come, first-served.
