This small gesture was able to bring a big smile to many faces. Thank you to our PMG students and families for showing your kindness! Read Across America: Reading is an integral component of our instruction at PMG, as students experience the joy of learning to read, and expanding their repertoire of reading skills. The month of March brings a special focus on reading at PMG as we celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday! Thanks to our PTA, a special reading celebration is coordinated in each classroom, and our students participate in special reading themed activities throughout "Read Across America" week as we celebrate READING! Round Valley School Round Valley Elementary School Happenings! February was an exciting month for students and staff at RVS. The month started off with a huge snowstorm, and the groundhog predicting six more weeks of winter. For those who love winter activities, this was great news! The first week of the month was National School Counseling Week and February is Black History Month. Kindness was the Word of the Month at RVS and students engaged in a variety of activities displaying acts of friendship and kindness. We hosted a Valentine exchange which included students having the opportunity to make cards for a local assisted living home. Dan Gutman, the author of the My Weird School book series and many other popular books joined RVS students through Zoom to discuss his life as an author. This was brought to us by our Parent Teacher Association. Extensions activities also started for students, providing opportunities for rock painting, knitting, and writing and illustrating. Students brought us Words of Wisdom each day through videos shared with the entire student body. Spruce Run School Kindergarten Round-Up is now occurring for Patrick McGaheran School.
